Our Philosophy

Faith is more than what happens when we attend church on Sunday mornings. It is an integral part of who we are, inside and out. Here at Emmaus, we believe in sharing the joy of the gospel daily and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.

When we began in 2002, Emmaus Bible Church was comprised of a handful of believers who met in the living room of our home. We believed then, as we do now, that the Lord instructed us not only to be recipients of His saving grace in our lives but also to be a "light" in a dark world.

In order to fulfill this mandate, we continued to seek God's guidance and to grow; not only in maturity, but in number as well. Through His gracious providence we found ourselves in the position to acquire the beautiful property in which we now meet. We are truly blessed to have been in this historic location for more than 10 years.
